Infertility follow-up and treatment
Assessment of infertility includes the following:
Male Tests
- Semen analysis
- Hormonal testing
- Testicular biopsy in some specific cases
Female Tests
- Ovulation assesment
- Imaging of the uterus and fallopian tubes (hysterosalpingography)
- Ovarian reserve
- Other hormonal tests
- Imaging examinations
- Hysteroscopy
- Laparoscopy
Not every woman needs to undergo all, or even several, of these tests before the cause of infertility is found. Your doctor will determine which tests you’ll have and when treatment.
