Pelvic Exam

A routine and common physical examination of a woman’s reproductive organs. to detect signs of diseases in females organs.

The doctor examines the vulva, vagina, cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and uterus, in the following ways:

1. Perform an external examination of the pelvis and vagina.
2. Perform a speculum examination to obtain a Pap smear.
3. Do a bilateral examination to check the size and shape of the uterus.
